Current Projects

Understanding Hinduphobia is a nonpartisan initiative I co-founded and direct to support educators, scholars, and institutions in recognizing and addressing bias against Hindu communities—especially in K–12 and higher education. Our work includes research, educator-facing resources, policy engagement, and collaborative learning spaces. Every two to three years, we host a public conference in partnership with student organizers and community members to foster dialogue and advance pluralism in education. Together with other scholars, I developed the first Working Definition of Hinduphobia at the first UH in 2021. That definition, additional resources, and recordings from our public conferences can be found on the Understanding Hinduphobia logo.

Upcoming Projects

Futures of Knowing is a growing body of work exploring how learning, consciousness, and human flourishing must evolve in a time shaped by quantum insight, contemplative traditions, and accelerating change.

This project includes public inquiry through podcasting, emerging research into learning futures and inner life, and partnerships across disciplines and communities. It builds on earlier work in education, identity, and public pedagogy, while turning more intentionally toward the interior—asking what it means to educate from the ground of being itself.
